Sony launches new range of native 4K SXRD laser home projectors in India

Sony VPL-XW7000ES & VPL-XW5000ES compact native 4K SXRD laser home projectors launched in India. These are said to be the world’s smallest Native 4K SXRD 0.61-inch panel (3840 x 2160) and two new Native 4K SXRD (Silicon X-tal Reflective Display) laser home projectors from the company. The Sony VPL-XW7000ES and VPL-XW5000ES home laser projectors with native 4K SXRD resolution demonstrate the company’s cutting-edge innovations that provide the best viewing experience even in areas with high ambient light. The new XW series supports 2K 120Hz input with 13ms input delay.

With 3,200 lm of brilliant brightness and Live Color Enhancer, the new Sony Native 4K HDR laser model in the VPL-XW7000ES is the ideal companion for immersing yourself in movies, sports and games. Additionally, this model features an all-new 70mm Advanced Crisp Focused (ACF) lens, an aspherical front element and a floating focus group that offers exceptional clarity for big-screen viewing.

A new addition to Sony’s home projector range, the VPL-XW5000ES is a 2,000lm laser model that offers better contrast and resolution while using 30% less energy per lumen. It also features object-based HDR remastering for powerful real-time image processing. With the XW series, TRILUMINOS PRO brings more than a billion colors to life with a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut.

With 8.3 million pixels and a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, both models deliver remarkably vivid images. The reflective silicone coating on the new Native 4K SXRD screen improves durability and light reflectivity, offering better light control for precisely rendered shadows and blacks.

Thanks to the X1 Ultimate processor for projector processing, contrast is greatly improved in both models, combined with new laser output control, making bright HDR images brighter and dark HDR scenes darker. With the recently introduced object-based HDR remaster, more powerful real-time image processing is now possible. This technology analyzes the objects in each frame and creates unmatched HDR images for all items.
